Senegalese President Sall Hails Africa50's Cooperation with Senelec to Develop the Malicounda Power Plant

CASABLANCA, Morocco, September 22 (Infosplusgabon) -  At its second annual Shareholders Meeting in Dakar on September 12, Africa50, the infrastructure fund for Africa, signed a development agreement with Senelec, Senegal's electricity provider, for competitive selection of a strategic sponsor to develop a 120 MW combined cycle thermal power plant at Malicounda. Together, the consortium will secure financing and supervise construction and operation of the plant.
