Tunisia to reopen embassy in Tripoli

Tunis ,Tunisia, September 14 (Infosplusgabon) - Tunisia has appointed diplomat Lassaad Ajili as its new ambassador to Libya, who will be the first head of the Tunisian diplomatic mission to settle in Tripoli since 2014, a statement posted on the official page of the Tunisian Foreign Ministry has announced.

UN mission in Libya expresses 'grave cncern' about civilian death in Haftar stronghold demonstration

Tripoli, Libya, September 14 (Infosplusgabon) - The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has expressed "grave concern" regarding reports that one civilian was killed, three were injured, and a number of other demonstrators were arrested last Saturday following reported excessive use of force by eastern authorities against peaceful demonstrators in the city of al-Marj, the stronghold of Khalifa Haftar, leader of the Libyan National Army (LNA).
