2014 CHAN: Libya beats Gabon 4-2 on penalties, reaches semi final

LIBREVILLE, Jan 27 (Infosplusgabon) -   Libya Sunday qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa (Polokwane) after beating Gabon 4-2 on penalties following their 1-1 draw in extra time.

Abdelsalam Omar scored for Libya in the 50th minute before Daniel Cousin drew level for Gabon in the 73rd minute from the penalty spot.

The score remained 1-1 even after extra time and the match had to be settled from the penalty shootout.
