LIBREVILLE, Jan 6 (Infosplusgabon) - The outgoing mayor of Port-Gentil Bernard Apérano,  has been  reelected on Sunday after the first special session of the city council. Bernard Apérano got 49 voices  out of 49 voters.

He has got support  from  Parti  démocratique gabonais  ( PDG-on  power), 36 voices; Union du Peuple  gabonais (UPG-Opposition,  5 voices),  Alliance démocratique et républicaine  ( ADERE),4  voices,  Centre des  libéraux reformateurs (CLR), 2 voices and  2 CLR and Mouvement  démocrate populaire (MODEP),  2  voices.

Port-Gentil, the economic capital, is the second largest city of the  country. Budget  is about 12 billion CFA  Francs.
