Congo cancels issuance of entry visas on arrival

LIBREVILLE, December 19 (Infosplusgabon) -  Entry visas to the Congo will no longer be issued upon arrival, and those coming into the country without visa will be turned back on arrival, the Department the Interior announced in a circular issued on Monday in the capital, Brazzaville.

It said that henceforth, those wishing to travel to the country must obtain their visas from the Congolese diplomatic mission in the countries where they are domiciled.

The Department said the circular took effect 12 Nov. 2013.
