Gabon : Port-Gentil celebrates culture

LIBREVILLE, June 23 (Infosplusgabon) -  The city of Port-Gentil has now an annual cultural festival called "Mandji Culture" whose first edition was marked by a wide audience adhesion  on June 20 and June 21.

The Festival was jointly organized by Addax Petroleum oil and Gas Gabon in partnership with the city of Port-Gentil. The ambassador of  China in Gabon and his wife visited the various stands. The event comes up with the fifth anniversary of the acquisition of Addax Petroleum Oil and Gas Gabon by the Chinese giant Sinopec.

The first edition of "Mandji Culture" was sponsored by the famous Gabonese musician Martin Rompavet. The festival is expected to develop Gabonese and African talent in various culture sector. The 2nd edition of "Mandji Culture" will  be held next year  at  the  same  time  of  the  celebration on  the bicentenary of the city of Port-Gentil.  Music, food, drink,  games, exposition, painting, and much more…
