The President of Liberia shall appoint 15 persons to the team and they shall include the Ministers of State for Presidential Affairs; Justice; Foreign Affairs; Finance and Development Planning; Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia; Internal Affairs; National Defense; Director of the Executive Protective Service; Information, and other members to be appointed at the discretion of the incumbent President.

The President-elect shall appoint 15 persons to the transition team, all of whom must be Liberian citizens, and shall be named not later than 24 hours after the declaration of the President-elect by the NEC.

The President and the President-elect shall be co-chairpersons of the transition team or may designate any member of the team to act as a Co-Chairperson in their absence.

The release said decisions of the transition team shall be made by consensus and any disagreement shall be resolved by the President and President-elect, acting jointly.
