2017 FIFA Club World Cup: Wydad Casablanca join fray on Saturday

Abu Dhabi, UAE, December 9 (Infosplusgabon) -  African champions Wydad Casablanca begin their campaign for the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday against Pachuca of Mexico, winners of the 2017 AFC Champions League.

The match, to be at the Zayed Sports City Stadium, Abu Dhabi, is in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The second quarter-final match is between host club Al-Jazira of the UAE, winners of the 2016–17 UAE Pro-League, and Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, winners of the 2017 AFC Champions League.

The winners on Saturday advance to the semi-finals where defending champions Real Madrid and Gremio of Brazil are waiting.
