Bashir heads to Chad for national day celebrations

Khartoum, Sudan, December 1 (Infosplusgabon) - Sudan's President Omar Bashir is due to leave Khartoum on Friday for Ndjamena to take part in celebrations of Chad's national day, it was officially announced here on Thursday.

During his two-day visit there, President Bashir will hold talks with his Chadian counterpart,  President Idris Debby, on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of common interest, the official Sudan News Agency reported.

It said President Bashir will be accompanied by a high powered delegation including Minister of the Presidency, Dr Fadul Abdalla Fadul; Director of National Intelligence and Security Service, Gen. Mohamed Atta, State Minister and General Director of the President's Offices, Hatem Hassan Bakheet; and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Attal-Mannan Bakheet.
