Army kills four Boko Haram terrorists, rescues 212 hostages

Abuja, Nigeria, November 29 (Infosplusgabon) - The Nigerian Army on Wednesday said its troops killed four Boko Haram terrorists and captured one of their commanders in an operation in the northeast of the country.

 

Nigerian Army Spokesman, Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman said in a statement that troops on Tuesday also captured 212 persons being held hostage by the terrorist group.

 

He said the troops in an operation cleared Boko Haram terrorists from their hideouts located at Kala, Jawara, Mada, Mika, Gakulba and Kutilax (Sanga), northern fringes of Sambisa forest and fringes of Kala Balge Local Government Area of Borno State.

 

They captured one of the terrorists’ commanders, the “Ameer” of Chawa, Amman Judee, and rescued 212 persons held hostage.
