Nigerian Army kills 14 Boko Haram terrorists

Abuja, Nigeria, November 28 (Infosplusgabon) - The Nigerian Army says a total of 14 Boko Haram terrorists have been killed during three "clearance operations” in the northeast of the country.

Nigerian Army Spokesman, Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman, said in a statement on Tuesday that eight terrorists were killed and one captured in some villages at Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

In two other operations, soldiers ambushed fleeing Boko Haram terrorists and killed five of them in one case and one in an ambush.

The soldiers recovered rifles, magazines, machetes, amongst other items from the terrorists.

The troops also rescued men, women and children who had been held hostage.
