Cape Town, South Africa, 12 novembro (Infosplusgabon) - A Cape Town court has cleared the way for British fugitive Lee Tucker who is wanted for child sex crimes to be extradited from South Africa.
Tucker is being held in the notorious Pollsmoor Prison where Nelson Mandela was detained in the 1980s after being transferred from Robben Island.
A final decision on his extradition is expected to be made by Justice Minister Michael Masutha, next week.
Tucker was arrested in March 2016 after UK authorities tracked him down in South Africa where he worked as a helicopter pilot. He had been on the run for 15 years after being convicted on several paedophile charges by the Swindon Crown Court in South Wales in 2001.
