Cairo, Egypt, November 5 (Infosplusgabon) - Cameroon have qualified for the third round of the 2018 African Under-20 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament without kicking the ball.
This follows Sierra Leone's withdrawal from the competition this weekend, prompting CAF to award the two legs to Cameroon.
The Cameroonians stand bye to take on the winner of second-round, two-leg matches between Ghana and Kenya, and look set to clinch one of two slots for Africa at the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in France.
The results of the matches between Ghana and Kenya, and Morocco and Nigeria are still being expected.
In another second-round, second-leg match played on Saturday, Burundi defeated South Africa 2-0. The second leg will take place 17–19 November.
