Rwandan president attends 2017 Africa Global Business Forum in Dubai

Kigali, Rwanda, November 1 (Infosplusgabon) - Rwandan President Paul Kagame is currently in Dubai, United Arab Emirate (UAE) where he is attending a two-day international Africa Global Business Forum (GBF) along with some other four African heads of state, an official source confirmed Wednesday in Kigali.

 

GBF Africa provides a unique opportunity to listen to global leaders engage in inspirational, thought-provoking, and focused dialogues that shape the future of governments and businesses.

 

Speakers at the conference include the Vice President of Ghana, Mahamudu Bawumia, Presidents Yoweli Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, Ameenah Gurib-Fakim of Maurtius, Edgar Lungu of Zambia and Danny Faure of Seychelles. high ranking officials, Fortune 500 CEOs, alongside other prominent leaders in business and investment from Africa, the Gulf and across the world, reports said.

 

It is expected that during the forum that opened on Wednesday, participants will brainstorm on the next phase of growth and development with the founders of Africa’s most innovative businesses, exploring the potential for leveraging technology to accelerate growth across the continent.

 

Among other issues to be discussed at this high-level forum, are the power of the emerging private sector and identify the opportunities for financing and partnering with Africa’s most dynamic businesses, it said.
