BREAKING NEWS: Kenyatta to be declared winner of Presidency with 98%

Nairobi, Kenya, October 30 (Infosplusgabon) -  President Uhuru Kenyatta was set to be declared winner of the 26 Oct presidential re-run with 98% of the votes cast, according to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission  (IEBC).

The electoral body dismissed voting in 25 constituencies after violence on Thursday and decided on Monday, the results from the 25 constituencies, almost 10% of the registered voters, would not affect the outcome of the vote.

President Kenyatta obtained 7.4 million votes, about 42% of the vote, in an election which was boycotted by the main opposition leader, Raila Odinga.

The opposition coalition, the National Super Alliance (NASA), said it would declare its next course of action after the declaration of the results.
