Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca draw 1-1 in first-leg 2017 CAF Champions League final match

Alexandria, Egypt, October 28 (Infosplusgabon) -   Wydad Casablanca of Morocco held Al Ahly of Egypt to a 1-1 draw in their first-leg CAF Champions League final match played at the Borg El Arab Stadium on Alexandria, Egypt.

Al Ahly went ahead when Moamen Zakaria volleyed home in the third minute. However, Achraf Bencharli's header after 16 minutes levelled matters.

The Egyptians sought the winner in wave after wave of attacks but the resilient Moroccans held them at bay.

The second-leg will be played in Casablanca next Saturday.
