Freetown, Sierra Leone, 0ctober 23 (Infosplusgabon) - Ahead of the presidential election slated for 7 March 2018 in Sierra Leone, the country's Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) will organise a public debate for presidential candidates to sell their policies and objectives to the electorate.

PPRC's head of outreach, Lucien Momoh, told Infosplusgabon on Monday that the debate is scheduled for February 2018.

“The process will be geared towards creating a space for politicians to sell their aspirations, goals and intentions to the electorate,” he said, without explaining how the debate would be conducted.

So far, four parties, including the ruling All Peoples Congress and main opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party have named their presidential candidates who are currently holding campaign rallies across the country.
