Seychelles president on state visit to Mauritius

Port Louis, Mauritius, October 23 (Infosplusgabon) - Seychelles President Danny Antoine Rollen Faure will be on a state visit to Mauritius from 26 to 29 October 2017, it was officially announced Monday in the Mauritian capital.

According to the official programme, Mr Faure will meet with Mauritian President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim and Prime Minister Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, besides taking part in a Business Forum, touring the Aapravasi Ghat World Heritage Site and Le Morne Cultural Landscape.

During the visit, two Memorandums of Understanding between the two countries will be signed with regard to cooperation in the health sector for the provision of medical personnel, exchange of experience and technical assistance.

The other deal concerns the twinning between Rodrigues and the Island of La Digue with a view to promoting and strengthening cultural ties, exchanging experience and best practices in various areas, including marine, education, fisheries, aquaculture, tourism, technology and investment promotion.
