2017 FIFA U-17 WC: Brazil outlast Germany 2-1; meet England in semi-final

Kolkata, India, October  22 (Infosplusgabon) - Brazil came back from behind to beat Germany 2-1 in their quarter-final 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup match played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata, India.

Germany went ahead through a penalty kick taken by Jann-Fiete Arp in the 21 minute when John Yeboah was tripped in the penalty box by a Brazilian defender.

Brazil, however, rallied back with two goals in six minutes in the 71st minute through Weverson and Paulinho's fierce shot in the 77th minute to win the day.

Brazil will meet England in the semi-finals on Wednesday. The other semi-final on the same day will be between Spain and Mali.
