Niger leader in Sudan for talks on economy, comabating terrorism with Bashir

Khartoum, Sudan, October  17 (Infosplusgabon) -  President Omar Bashir and President Mohamadou Issooufou met in Khartoum on Tuesday and had talks on bilateral relations, according to the official Sudanese News Agency.

 

The agency said their talks covered issues related to economic development in the continent, especially, the free trade zones and the African Union.

 

But, Sudanese Foreign minister, Ibrahim Ghandour said the talks included the opening of Sudan's embassy in Niamey and fighting terrorism in the region.

 

The minister underlined that the two presidents reviewed the combat of illegal migration and organized crimes in the context of developments in neighbouring Libya.

 

Ghadour added that he discussed with his Niger counterpart, Ibrahim Yagouba a meeting to be held by the joint Political Consultation Committee between the two sides.
