Kigali, Rwanda, October 16 (Infosplusgabon) - Rwanda's Foreign Affairs Minister, Louise MUshikiwabo, on Monday sent a message of condolences to Somalia over a terrorist bombing in the capital city, Mogadishu, reiterating Kigali's solidarity with Somali people.
In the message, posted on her Twitter handle, Mushikiwabo said "Our condolences to our brothers and sisters in Somalia", referring to the devastating bomb attack that killed at least 300 people and left hundreds seriously injured in the attack, blamed on militant group al-Shabaab.
"We are in solidarity [with Somalia] against terrorism," the Rwandan senior government official said.
Official reports in the Somali capital city, Mogadishu, indicate that 300 people had died in the attack with at least 300 others injured, adding that more victims continue to be dug up by rescue workers from the rubble spread over hundreds of metres in the centre of the city.
