Kenya: Egypt join Cameroon, Kenya in World Championships qualifiers semis

Nairobi, Kenya, October  11 (Infosplusgabon) -  Egypt became the third side to reach the semi-finals of the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) 2018 Women's World Championships qualifiers after hammering Botswana in Yaounde, Cameroon, on Tuesday.

The north African country, one of Africa's volleyball powerhouses, won 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-21) and joined Kenya and hosts Cameroon in the final four.

The tournament doubles as the African Women’s Championship and is taking place at the Palais des Sports in Yaounde, Cameroon.

It began on Saturday and the first round continues till Wednesday. The medal matches take place on 14 October and the top two will qualify for Japan 2018.
