KHARTOUM, Sudan, October 4 (Infosplusgabon) - President Mohamed Abdalla Mohamed Ali of Somalia arrived in Khartoum Wednesday on a two-day visit and he was received by Sudanese President Omar Bashir.
Sudan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hamid Mumtaz, said that the Somali President's visit comes as part of the efforts to consolidate relations between the two countries.
He said that during the visit, Sudanese and Somali officials will hold talks on political, diplomatic, economic issues and questions of mutual concern, including security and stability in Somalia. The talks will be followed by the signing of deals in different fields, including education and agriculture.
Mumtaz added that the Somali president's tour marked a turning point to the better in bilateral relations.
