2017 CAF Champions League: Étoile du Sahel beat Al Ahly 2-1 in 1st leg semi-final fixture

CAIRO, Egypt, October 1 (Infosplusgabon) -  Étoile du Sahel of Tunisia on Sunday beat Al-Ahly of Egypt 2-1 in their the first-leg semi-final match of the 2017 CAF Champions League played in Tunisia.

Alaya Brigui put Étoile du Sahel ahead in the 16th minute, but Al Ahly equalised in the 66th minute through Saleh Goma.

Mohamed Ben Ben Amor got the match winner for the Tunisian club in the 73rd minute.

USM Alger of Algeria earlier on Friday played out a 0-0 draw with Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.

The second-leg matches will take place between 20 and 22 of October.
