LUSAKA, Zambia, September 27 (Infosplusgabon) - Zambian President Edgar Lungu is scheduled to meet his Democratic Republic of Congo counterpart, Joseph Kabila, to discuss issues of mutual concern for the two countries.

The state-run Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) reported Wednesday that the two leaders will also discuss issues of peace and security in the Great Lakes region.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vincent Mwale, told the ZNBC that President Lungu will meet Kabila soon, adding that the two leaders agreed to meet after they met in Angola Tuesday during the inauguration of Angola’s new president.
