Mali: Mohamed Magassouba appointed acting coach of Mali's national football team

BAMAKO, Mali, September 25 (Infosplusgabon) -  The technical director of Mali's national football team, Mohamed Magassouba, has been appointed acting coach by the Malian Football Federation of Football (FEMAFOOT).

Magassouba will replace Frenchman Alain Giresse, who resigned following his poor results, marked by the virtual elimination of the Malian team in the ongoing 2018 World Cup qualifiers and elimination in the first round of the last Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

He will be assisted by the former Malian international footballer Fousseyni Diawara.
