FREETOWN,  Sierra Leone, September 19 (Infosplusgabon) -  A Chinese naval vessel has docked at Freetown port on Tuesday with medical personnel to provide free medical service to Sierra Leoneans over the next four days, the Chinese Embassy here said in a press release.

The Peace Ark, which is on a voyage to provide humanitarian medical services across the globe, arrived at Queen Elizabeth Quay from Djibouti.

A week before its arrival, registration of sick people has been going on in Freetown. According to the Chinese Embassy, only 200 people would be treated per day. However, it is estimated that up to 5,000 people have registered for examination and treatment.

The ship is scheduled to visit Gabon, Angola and other African countries before it sails to Asia next month.
