Coronavirus: Mauritius detects three new imported cases on passengers from France

Port-Louis, Mauritius, December 3 (Infosplusgabon) - Health authorities in Mauritius on Thursday announced the detection of three new imported cases of COVID-19 on passengers from France who were in quarantine.

In a communique, the Health and Wellness Ministry said all three have been transferred to a local hospital for treatment.

It also indicated that, to date, Mauritius has recorded 508 cases of COVID-19, comprising 10 deaths. 465 recoveries and 33 active cases.

At present, a total number of 1,527 people are quarantined in different hotels and health centers throughout the island.
