Coronavirus: Mauritius detects one case imported from Dubai

Port Louis, Mauritius, December 2  (Infosplusgabon) – Health authorities in Mauritius on Tuesday detected one new imported case of Covid-19 on a 33-year-old woman who came from Dubai, and was in quarantine, bringing the total number of active cases in the country to 32.

In a communiqué, the Health and Wellness ministry said that the patient was in a stable state of health and has been transferred to a local hospital for treatment.

So far, it added, Mauritius has registered 505 cases of Covid-19 with 10 deaths while 463 patients have been cured. A total of 1,507 people are currently in quarantine.
