Road accident leaves 47 people injured in Tunisian capital

Tunis, Tunisia, November 22 (Infosplusgabon) - A road accident following a collision between two buses Sunday morning here left 47 people injured, the Tunisian Interior Ministry said in a statement.

All the injured were evacuated by ambulances of the Civil Protection and the Ministry of Interior to hospitals in the capital.

One of the buses involved in the collision was said to be carrying workers of the Tunisian Air Transport Company, Tunisair.

The two buses were said to have slipped as a result of the heavy rains recorded in recent days in the capital.
