Coronavirus: Nigeria records 170 new cases

Abuja, Nigeria, October 31 (Infosplusgabon) – Nigeria on Friday recorded 170 new infections of coronavirus (COVID-19) and three deaths.

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) said via its Twitter handle that the new infections bring the total number of cases to 62,691.

The figures show that 58,430 cases have been discharged and 1,144 deaths have been recorded.

The NCDC also said that Nigeria has conducted 620,758 tests since the index case was recorded on 27 February.

Also on Friday, 181 patients were discharged from isolation centres.
