Coronavirus: One death, 32 new cases,156 recoveries recorded in Senegal

Dakar, Senegal, Octobre 4 (Infosplusgabon) - Senegal has recorded a new coronavirus-related death, bringing to 312 the number of patients who have succumbed to the virus since its appearance in the country on March 2,  the Ministry of Health and Social Action announced on Friday.

The ministry also indicated that out of 1,213 tests carried out, 32 were positive to the coronavirus. They included five follow-up cases, four imported and 23 cases resulting from community transmission.

In addition, 156 patients tested negative and were declared cured, according to the ministry which, however, reported eight  serious cases being managed in intensive care units.
