Curfew extended in eastern Burkina Faso

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, October 4 (Infosplusgabon) - The Burkinabe government on Friday extended the curfew imposed in the eastern region of Burkina Faso, according to an official statement here.

Officials of the eastern region told the entire population that the curfew, introduced as part of the fight against terrorism, is extended for a period of 60 days, from Saturday, October 3 at 00:00 hours to Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Last week was particularly deadly in this region of the country with several terrorist attacks, the statement indicated.
