Coronavirus: Benin records 73 new cases

Cotonou, Benin, September 14 (Infosplusgabon) - Benin's Ministry of Health has announced 73 new cases of coronavirus, bringing to 2,267 the number of infected people in the country.

A statement from the ministry said 1,942 patients have recovered and the death toll stands at 40.

According to the ministry's statement, most of the deaths recorded in Benin are due either to late detection or late treatment of patients who did not reort symptoms early.
