Coronavirus: Nigeria records 79 new infections

Abuja, Nigeria, September 14  (Infosplusgabon) – Nigeria on Sunday recorded 79 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, the lowest since 27 April when 64 cases were reported.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) also said via its official Twitter handle that this brings the total confirmed cases to 56,256.

It added that 64 patients were discharged bringing that total number to 44,152, there were four new deaths sending the death toll to 1,082 while the number of active cases is 11,022.

Altogether, Nigeria has conducted 440,248 sample tests.
