Tripoli, Libya, September 8 (Infosplusgabon) - The Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Mohamed Taher Siala, has discussed with the Japanese Minister of Defence, Taro Kono, the ongoing political dialogue in Morocco between the two rival administrations in Libya.

They discussed how to support and make the talks between the Tripoli-based High Council of State and the Parliament in Tubrouk succeed so as to end the Libyan crisis.

These topics were discussed in a telephone conversation on Monday that also included the examination of the modalities of cooperation between the two countries on several issues, according to a statement published Tuesday on the website of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The statement said their discussions also focused on Japan's assistance in training and qualifying a number of the government's military forces in accordance with international standards.

On Sunday evening, the inter-Libyan dialogue sessions began in the Moroccan town of Bouznika, in the presence of the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita.

The dialogue between the two Libyan assemblies took place after the visit to Rabat of the Speaker of the Parliament in Tubrouk and the president of High Council of State at the invitation of the Speaker of the Moroccan Parliament, Habib al-Maliki.
