Coronavirus: Morocco registers 1,750 new cases

Rabat, Morocco, September 5 (Infosplusgabon) - Morocco  registered 1,750 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection on Friday, the Ministry of Health has announced.

It said that 1,260 cured patients and 39 deaths were also recorded in Morocco.

This new report brings the total number of infections to 68,605 in the country since the first case was reported on March 2 and to 52,483 the number of patients who have fully recovered.

Active cases have reached 14,830, with a prevalence of around 40.8 per 100,000 inhabitants.

Regarding severe or critical cases, the ministry said that there are 180, including 47 under intensive care.
