Coronavirus: Libya confirms 17,094 virus infections

Tripoli, Libya, September 5 (Infosplusgabon) - Libya has recorded 649 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, following the test of 3,382 samples, which brought the total of cases in the country to 17,064, the National Centre for Disease Control announced on Saturday.

In a statement, the centre announced 115 latest recoveries and 10 deaths.

It added that out of the tested samples, 2,733 were negative. Of the infections registered in Libya, 14,797 cases are still active while 2,025 were cured and 272 died.
