Coronavirus: Algeria records 304 new confirmed cases of infection

Algiers, Algeria, Septembre 5 (Infosplusgabon) -A total of 304 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), 8 deaths and 253 recoveries have been recorded during the last 24 hours in Algeria, the spokesperson of the scientific committee monitoring the evolution of the pandemic, Dr. Djamel Fourar said on Friday in Algiers.

Confirmed cases have topped 45,773 representing 0.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants during the last 24 hours, Dr. Fourar said, adding that the number of deaths amounted to 1,539 while recoveries rose to 32,259.

Dr. Fourar called for vigilance and respect for the rules of hygiene and physical distance, recalling the obligation to respect the confinement and wearing of masks.
