Members of Tunisia's new government declare assets

Tunis, Tunisia, September 3 (Infosplusgabon) - Members of the new Tunisian government, led by Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi, declared their assets to the National Anti-Corruption Authority on Wednesday evening.

Earlier in the day, they were sworn in at the Carthage Palace before President Kais Saied.

The government of Mr. Mechichi was on Wednesday approved by Parliament after more than 15 hours of debate by 134 votes for, 67 against and no abstentions out of a total of 201 MPs present.
