Kigali, Rwanda, September 2 (Infosplusgabon) - The Rwanda Basketball Federation (Ferwaba) has appointed Tanzanian Henry Mwinuka as its deputy national team coach to replace Rwandan Maxime Mwiseneza, who has been assigned other responsibilities.

Mwinuka was until recently head coach of the club of Rwanda Energy Group (REG) that he joined last year.

Rwanda is on the list of 20 teams that will participate in the second round of qualification for the FIBA AfroBasket 2021 in November this year.

These teams are divided into five groups of four where each will play two tournaments in the international windows.

The top three teams from each group will automatically qualify to the FIBA AfroBasket 2021 to be held in Rwanda.

Ahead of final round of qualification, Rwanda will play against Mali on 27 November while in the second game will be against Nigeria.
