Coronavirus: Tunisia records 113 new confirmed cases

Tunis, Tunisia, August 31 (Infosplusgabon) - Tunisia has registered 113 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Tunisian Ministry of Health announced Monday in a statement.

Since the opening of air and sea borders on June 27, Tunisia has recorded 2,484 confirmed cases, including 543 imported cases, 1,917 local ones and 26 deaths, the ministry said.

A total of 2,667 laboratory tests were carried out on Sunday, including 29 from former patients. This brings to 142,194 the total number of tests performed in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.
