Kigali, Rwanda, August 16 (Infosplusgabon) - Rwanda's number of COVID-19 infections has increased by 59 cases to 2,352 in the last 24 hours while the death toll remained at 6, the Health Ministry reported Sunday.
Rwanda has been fighting against COVID-19 since March.15.
Laboratories across the East African country have completed 329,474 tests since March.
The Rwandan Government is focusing on ramping up tests.
Rwanda's borders are closed while movements across the country are prohibited from 9 pm to 5 am in line with a curfew imposed to limit the spread of the disease.
Since 1 August, the government has reopened airports for commercial flights.
