Coronavirus: Ghana records 763 new infections bringing total to 28,430

Accra, Ghana, July 21 (Infosplusgabon) - Ghana has recorded 763 new COVID-19 infections bringing the total confirmed cases to 28,430.

The new cases are from samples that were taken from the period 7 June to 16 July but reported from the lab on 17 July, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) announced on its website on Monday night. Ghana has conducted more than 330,000 tests.

It said five more persons have died increasing the toll to 153.

GHS said 24,901 persons have recovered/discharged. The number of active cases as of 17 July is 3,376.
