Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, July 21 (Infosplusgabon) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 122.35 to 121.72 points or a 0.51 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.70 percent to 129,72 points as against 130.64 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 89,117,792 CFAF for 28,139 traded securities on the share market while that of the bond market stood at 3,900,876 CFAF for 407 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 3,897,710,890,236 CFAF while the bond market stood at 5,115,528,251,150 CFAF.

Air Liquide (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 2.56 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Nsia Banque (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.39 percent.
