Port-Louis, Mauritius, July 21 (Infosplusgabon) - A 39-year-old Mauritian resident of Rose-Hill town, some 20 km south of the capital, Port Louis, was arrested on Monday by police on suspicion of being behind false reports about the COVID-19, which circulated on Facebook last week, police sources said.
They said the suspects posted a video in which he said he had information about a second lockdown, due to the presence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the island, which caused disruptions in several schools last week.
He wasdue to appear before Rose Hill court on Monday.
