Coronavirus: 2 deaths, 63 new cases and 69 new recoveries recorded Monday in Senegal

Dakar, Senegal, July 13 Infosplusgabon) - Senegal on Monday recorded two coronavirus-related deaths, 63 new cases, and 69 new recoveries, the Ministry of Health and Social Action announced during its daily briefing on the epidemiological situation.

These new deaths bring to 150 the number of patients who died from the virus in the country.

In addition, the 63 new cases have brought to 8,198 the number of people who have been infected with the virus since it appeared in Senegal on 2 March, according to the Ministry of Health.

The new cases of coronavirus are divided into 50 contact cases and 13 from community transmission.

On the other hand, 69 cures have been recorded, bringing the total number to 5,514 for the whole country.

Thus, 2,533 patients are still under treatment, 34 of whom are in critical condition requiring treatment in intensive care units.
