COVID-19: Senegal records 104 new cases of coronavirus, 90 recoveries and one new death

Dakar, Senegal, June 25 (Infosplusgabon) -  Senegal recorded 104 new cases of coronavirus, 90 recoveries and one death on Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Social Action announced at its daily briefing on the epidemiological situation.

According to the ministry, 104 of the 985 tests were positive to coronavirus, representing 75 contacts cases being treated and 29 cases from community transmission.

In addition, 90 patients tested negative and were declared recovered, said the ministry as it reported one death related to coronavirus.

To date, Senegal has 6,233 positive cases: 4,162 recoveries, 94 deaths and 1,976 patients still under treatment, including 24 serious cases treated in resuscitation services.
