Coronavirus: Ghana’s case count rises to 15,472; recoveries now 11,433

Accra, Ghana, June 25 (Infosplusgabon) - Ghana’s coronavirus case count has increased to 15,472 with the addition of 459 new cases, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye announced at a press briefing on Thursday.

He said the new cases were reported in 34 districts in nine of the country's 16 regions.

Meanwhile, 352 persons have recovered from the disease, raising that count to 11,430. The death toll remains at 95.

Dr Kuma-Aboagye said Ghana has 3,947 active cases, adding that the conditions of 22 patients are severe and six are critical.
