COVID-19: Togo has a total of 569 cases of coronavirus

Lomé, Togo, June 22 (Infosplusgabon) - Togo recorded eight new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus to 569, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

It said the new cases involved seven men and one woman, all living in Lomé, the capital, and are aged between 1 and 62 years.

On Sunday, there were nine new recoveries which brought the total of cured patients to 375.

Thirteen patients have succumbed to the virus, while 181 are still being treated.

In total, since 5 March, 27,986 tests have been carried out throughout the country.
